What are you guys using to avoid getting slick shit all over the side of the tire and under carriage? Lube or wax?

i use chain lube go for i good run without a lot of turns then wash the bike i use denatured alcohol on the tire to remove the slimy film ... lot of work but looks good when yer done :)

I use chain wax. You go for a quick ride to heat the chain, then spray it on real good, then let it dry for about 15 minutes. Done. No grease flung all over everything. :wink:

i use simple green and water first to degrease it, then go for a ride to fling water and warm the chain up. spray it on and let it sit about 15 to 30 minutes and you will have almost no fling at all. when i do it right i have none. when i rush it......what a mess :eek:
