I was born and raised around Phoenix. Where are you thinking of moving to?

I'm looking at Pheonix. One of my boys is an IT director out there so I won't have a problem finding a job. I'll just take about a $20,000 pay cut. But the cost of living is cheaper.

My car ins. will probably be like $350 a year for liability. So will my van. And I'll save mucho dinero on Bike ins. My mortgage will be like $250 a month if I put 40G's down. It's crazy.

There's a track about 2 1/2 hours away from Pheonix too in Chandler. It doesn't get any better than that.

My wife and I are probably going to visit sometime this summer.

My parents retired in Sedona and it's beautiful there. Red rock country. 30 miles away is Flagstaff and it's at 7000ft in the Ponderosa pine forrests. I haven't had the chance to get the bike down there yet, but there are some great roads in that area. It would be awesome riding. AZ is a great state. If you move to Phoenix, be prepared--it's hella hot! 110 - 120 in July and Aug.

I agree with gnt. The ride 17N. from phoenix then take off toward Sedona up Oak creek Canyon into Flagstaff is a good ride. Allot of tourist though. Some other twisties in the area, but mostly straight flat roads & Hot as shit. Two tracks out there. You will end up with a GoldWing....

Hahaha....dude Chandler is only 1/2 an hour from Phoenix unless you get stuck in some fucked traffic and I've never seen fucked traffic like NYC except when I lived in SoCal. We don't have toll roads, toll bridges, or any other fuckery like that.

I'll be out there doing the Cisco thing next week 'cause I live and work in the middle of bumfuck nowhere now. Oh yeah, and it's too damn hot. When I retire, I'm moving to OlderRR's neighborhood.
