Crash 12-11-2005, 08:30 PM CBR-888 insisted that it was okay to join up, even though I drive a Yamaha. Something about needing more women to loiter around... :)
I have a 2002 Yamaha R6, red/white/blk, with an obnoxiously loud D&D pipe! I've been riding for about 9 years now, had quite a few bikes along the way. Love the R6, and agree that RED is the fastest color!!
CBR-888 12-11-2005, 08:32 PM Welcome! glad you made it, sit back and enjoy the ride! great group here!:welcome:

Crash 12-11-2005, 08:56 PM can you wheelie? wee
My bike can do great wheelies. I just prefer it doesn't while I'm driving it!! I do little wheelies, about 6" or less off the ground. Not my specialty...

Thats a start, 600's are hard to wheelie http://cbxworld.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/leno.gif
Crash 12-11-2005, 09:08 PM 600's aren't that hard to wheelie. Mine will power-up. The guys have proven it to me. I've had 3 friends of mine take it out, and show me how great it is for that!!
I'm going to try a track day this year. We'll see how that goes...
1WHEELMAX 12-11-2005, 09:28 PM crash, welcome to the board and make yourself at home.
resuscit8u 12-11-2005, 10:15 PM I have had the pleasure of making a night run from Milwaukee to Madison with Crash leading on the interstate, group of 20 cruising at around 120. I could hear her D&D open up when she picked up the pace from the back of the pack. That was a good time!
We found out later from some stragglers that a State Squad came screaming up an on ramp after we passed, none of us ever saw him, hehehehe.

glad you could make it and hang out.
So, you wanna trade bikes for a ride so I can compare my 600 to yours? hehehe. I'll be sure to see how well that lil red sweetie works out them power ups (behind your back ;) ;) ) just as long as you can figure out gp shift pattern well enough to ride my bike. If you can :)
jfwy, :)
we'll make sure you get some track time in next season too. hey, you have a picture of the official pit scooter I heard you have?
Crash 12-12-2005, 01:40 PM Couldn't find really good pics of the scooter, so these will have to do for now.

I had it with me at RoadAmerica Superbike this year. Was winning the scooter races in Turn 2, and took her over a jump. Didn't really plan to, but it was getting dark, didn't see a BIG divot in the grass. Couldn't brake, would've gone ass over, so I kept on it. Launched her, both tires off the ground, and landed PERFECTLY  Then, she wouldn't start...
So, I did what any other honorable woman would do- convinced the Aprilia guys to fix it. They did right there at the track, and kicked in a free t-shirt. I doubt that riding down to the trailer on my R6 with a low-cut shirt on had anything to do with it...nor did the puppy-dog eyes...and telling them that I lost the scooter races to duct-taped $100 sprees, and had to push it "all by myself, uphill" to the campsite in front of everyone. They laughed at me :sadwave: :waaa:
mosmak 12-16-2005, 11:43 AM the mafia is going to take over haha
gntbldr 12-16-2005, 01:15 PM no doubt. since Jim's site is inactive atm it's good to have my/our house to hang out in.
Crash, do any cool wheelies with that scooter? heheheh
nice jump story btw. :HEHEHE:
Crash 12-16-2005, 01:33 PM The scoot's too big and heavy for wheelies. It's a project for me just to get it on the center stand. Darn thing weighs more than I do!! But, it has LOTS of storage under the seat...enough for tools, adult beverages, etc...
mosmak 12-16-2005, 01:40 PM thats why you need this version haha

no doubt, saw an aprilia rep riding around on oneof them at RA last year, and he had like an 18 pack in there With Ice!.
I need to get something like that. ;) ;)
wouldn't that be cute, matching scooters riding around the compound at RA, hahaha
but I'd have to leo vince mine out and whatnot, it'd HAve to be able to do wheelie I say. :HEHEHE:

Ha, ha... who do you think has the same scooter, in a different color? Oh, yes, that would be the ex-husband. I tried to get him to ride and love real bikes, but darn it if he didn't fall for a scooter!! That's why I have such a fancy one. If I had to ride one, it was at least going to be the Cadillac of scoots!! (BTW, it was at least entertaining watching my 300lb ex-hubby ride in his cop uniform to work on the scoot!) Don't see that in the suburbs every day!!
