I have a friend who is an engineer and all he does is test motor oil. Motorcycle oils are better than car oils because they have better addative packages (detergents and soft metals like Zinc that help cushion valves). Mobil One V-twin motorcycle oil has the best addatives, but all the motorcycle oils are pretty good with the exception of the Honda oils which aren't any better than regular car oil. When it's really hot, use 20W/50 otherwise 10W/40. I'll have to check with my bud and see if they have tested the silkolene.
