My sea level HP was 132.5 RWHP.... I always like to see a honda with a better dyno than the G1K... I wonder how well the new RR will do againt the 2004 model G1K.. I am not even sure they changed anyhting for the Gix or did they?

139hp :? i remember them saying the 954 that they had loosened up quite a bit. the initial hp number was around 132 and i still think that was a little generous. so if sport rider is known for telling tall tales.....were looking at about 142 to 146 hp.......i ain't spending major $$$$ for that. :roll: i'm close enough to those #'s now to make me happy :P the kicker will be all the trick shit on the 1000. i'm a gadget freak!!! :crazy:

we'll have to wait and see "actual" numbers, made by unbiased people before i make my decision.

Probably not, but with a pipe and PC3 it shouldn't be too hard. Unless you're looking to drop weight, is there any reason to get a full system with 1000rr since it sounds like the flow restrictor for low-mid range torque is in the can?

adds alot more HP and looses alot of weight..
look by the foot peg right under it..looks like a little something to restrict the flow..plus the exhaust valve!! remove all that shit and I bet it will make alot more HP

If the HP numbers are true, then I'm thinking of just getting a slip-on to free up a couple ponies and change the exhaust note so the blue hairs know I'm coming. As far as dropping a few a pounds from the exhast I could stand to up my running mileage and drop a couple off of me :D
