Kind of special if you have ever experienced this. We may be in our fith decade but we have yet to slow down after both of us riding for 40 years or so. Our favorite place to ride the 954's is in Weaverville CA. I wonder how many of you would make it to a meet there? Jeff (CBR-RR-XX-CESS) directed me to this forum. Our first ride was on our XX's with our wives and I could see this old guy flies!! Wait a minute, this old guy is the same age as me. It's good when you can trust another rider near you at full-tilt and Jeff is #1. Riding double on the XX's or solo on the 54's, it can't get any better. Jeff mentioned our favorite area to ride is Weaverville, Calif. Perhaps we could put something together for an "RR" gathering? You have always posted up some real awesome ride stuff. Great of ya Cal to jump on in the forum to hang out. There's a member named CBR-888 (Troy) on here some of us on here are good friends with and he has the fuel injected XX so I'm sure he's got some good sport touring riding stories or whatnot to share with yous. He let me borrow his XX for a few weeks even,. Loved riding that bike. Next year I'd be able to make it to a meet in CA for sure. Always wanted to ride a bike around there,... only Traveled from S.F. to Pasadena and a bunch of other areas before when I was growing up.
