hey guys.. want to get a GPS system to mount on my bike and car.. wondering if anyone has much experience with this, and knows good brands.. new to this so kinda in the dark when if comes to GPS, any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I've had good experience with Garmin. they have different models, including ones that are backlit. They have good memory, and tons of downloadable features and maps. Hell mine talks to you and it'll tell you where the gas stations and restaraunts are!

magellan and garmin.. They make a touch screen model for $1000 thats as good as a factory system.

I'm using the Garmin Etrex Legend and for the $170 I paid it does everything I need it to do.
I need to get the power cord and the mount still.
they say 18hrs on 2 AA's... shyeah right. Most I got was 12 hrs only with it being continuous but if I shut it off here and there then it's less...
