as much as I like Suzuki, I'd like to see Mat struggle a little bit. I don't think he's going to win the following tracks:

Pikes Peak
Road America
Brainerd
VIR

I think he might win:

Road Atlanta
Mid Ohio
Barber Motorsports Park
Laguna Seca

I remember hearing Miguel say at California Speedway that this was "all part of the plan." So far he has two 3rd place finishes and two 2nd place finishes. So does Zemke. If Mat runs into bad luck, they can steal the championship. They are hoping to win with Consistency. But if Mat scores Pole position at 10 tracks and leads the most laps at 10 tracks, then that's 20 more points extra. The Honda boys have to win races. If Eric steals wins from Honda, then Miguel and Zemke have no chance for the Championship. It will be a 3-way battle for 2nd place in the championship. That's what this is shaping up to be. This is my educated prediction.

I don't predict that Mat will have tire problems this year due to his bike being detuned and Dunlop busting their ass as a result of tire failures during winter testing on Disalvo and Spies's bikes.

Amen brother. I don't think he would beat those factory Ducatis at the European tracks. Most of those tracks in WSB are Fast tracks. All of those tracks flow at high speed. Mat wouldn't have much of a chance. Mat does best at tight technical tracks.

By the Way, Chris Vermeulen is doing pretty good on the CBR1000RR in World Superbike. He scored 2 second place finishes at one of the rounds. And he is not even factory supported. He's with Ten Kate Honda. A satellite team.
