the end of january and it's hitting 60. it's awesome. i jerry rigger the bike to make it legal and took it out for about 5 hours. no kick stand, got a fog light up front and the tail light electrical taped to the turn signal. it's looks so fucking getto. full leathers and the mohawk on the helmet. man i turned some heads for sure. but it was a blast.
my wheelies sucked too. it's been a while since i hit the street and the balance point is no where to be found. got better by the end of the day though. tried to put the left foot on the passenger peg and do a stand up that way. not too bad but the weight thing is way off (along with the wind) but as soon as it comes up it cocks way off to the side and sends me shooting into the other lane.
not a point to this at all really. but i got to ride for a day and was all pumped up and thought i would share.

I got out for an hour and a half, wanted to burn up the old gas and hit reserve. I find that when I can't hit the twisties that I become an obnoxious twit... :thumbsup:

I was whackin wheelies all over the place and basically performing squid antics, so I went home and put her back under the covers...

It got up to a blistering 45 degrees yesterday and now it's snowing and freezing rain...

The roads are super dirty with sand and salt. This sucks.

The lake isn't even frozen to be able to ride the dirt bike.:lame:



I did start up the 954 today though. It sounds soo good! I called my riding buddy and reved it into the phone. Now he wants to ride as bad as I do:firedevil:

I'm finally getting around to changing the oil for winter storage.:doh:

Then the swingarm is coming off. Time for a bearing service and some black powdercoat. :coolgleamA:

today was awesome.....went outside to make a feable attempt at stating my bike (havent let it run in a few months) and the son of a bitch started!!!!! then you know what i had to do......terroize the neighborhood!!!! nah i was good, but it felt awesome to throttle her up again...HOO-RAH!

well as a good biker, of course i have a battery tender. BUT, i've been so busy w/ work i had totally forgotten to throw it on there, so yest was the 1st time i started it in about 2 months. i couldn't believe it started!!! now its on the tender. anyway, felt awesome to get back on it.
