They have this tiny little zipper for this heavy ass leather and the first day I got them I was waiting for the day the zipper would break... Finally happened last night...
BUT I feel they were well worth the $ 20 times over since they have saved my ankles and feet and shins botth on road and off.
first off was the 470ft slide and tumble, then with my quad tire running over my foot (and me...hahaha) when I was fucking around, then with the 25' toss to a slam from the last high-side and lastly from a tree stump when I was bushwacking with the thumper...

after all that.....i think they served their purpose huh? they been through alot, time to let them rest :cry:

I'm thinkin of sending them to alpinestars for repair... or buying some Thor off-roaders...

send them in and tell them what all they have been through. they may just repair em for free or hook you up with a good discount :? most people just throw shtuff out. i have heard of guys getting discounts on helmets for sending in damaged ones from wrecks and such, but i'm not sure. you never know

You might try your local shoe repair shop,had my Alpinstars resoled after grinding the toes off . It was cheap too. like twenty bucks.
