$1100 worth of parts off of ebay for $540. I just saved 600 on parts that came off of a new bike from a dealer in Michigan.

I'm on my way. :D

I just took all of the plastics off of the bike for repainting. It's not so bad after all. I rubbed every weld with my fingers for signs of chipping on the frame. Chipping is a good indicator of frame damage. I couldn't find any chipping. If the frame isn't bent, I'll be on cloud 9. I'm almost positive that it's not bent but I want the professional confirmation. It's probably the adjustable rake internals that is tweaked.

All I'll need is the front fairing, brake pedal, instrument panel, ram air manifolds, ram air covers, an exhaust gasket and I'm all set. The radiator is not jacked up after all. It was leaking from the bike being on it's side for so long. I just let the bike idle for 10 minutes and there was no leaking. I'm a pig N shit.

I'm going to fix this bike. I'm not buying another one. Salvage title or no salvage title. I'm over the fear of crashing an $18,000 bike. I love this one and have an emotional attachment to it. Through thick and thin, we'll be together. :D

Not to mention, I'm learning a hell of a lot about my bike. What better way to do that than to put one together yourself.
