how to do the flapper mod,
1. take off ur seat and gas tank.
2. open up the airbox
3. remove the screws to the flapper
3a. if you would just like to see how the flapper mod works then i would reccomend taking a zip tie and just tying around the flapper in the open position so if you dont like it, just remove a snorkel and cut the tie and boom ur back to stock.
4. reassemble
this mod is a very common mod in this forum, i would reccomend doing this if you have a full system on your motorcycle, or if you have the HTEV pinned in the open position. if you leave the HTEV intact and functioning then there really is no point in doing the flapper mod just bc its simply something that is just going to get u top end sacrificing ur lower powerband,
the only reason i did this mod is bc i have a full system and run the track, i can say 100% improvement, but around the track i never drop below 7K RPM.
