took the 1000rr out for a ride tonight did 105 miles..let me say this bike is unfuckin real..the damper is no fuckin joke,I was trying to get the front to shake on purpose..I was hittin little lips on the highway at 140 in the lean and the bike just stuck to the road..by far this is the best machine I ever owned..got her up to 152 for a split second then dropped her back down to 7000 rpm,I wanna brake her it right..
the throttle reponse is great,smooth,the power turns on fast and pulls like a motha fucka and stable? ooo man is it stable..me and my boy with is all black were cruising the highways testing it out a little bit,he use to have the 2003 Gixxer 1000 and he said it him self,the 1000RR feels and rides awhole lot better..
all I can say is,if you can borrow one for a night do it,if you have the cash oe credit to buy one DO IT!!..im probably sending my fork to Traxxion next week and gettin a Penske or Ohlins..

I felt it compaired to my 600rr..the stock shit is ok but im so use to after market stuff..just the way the bike reacts to the bumps and dips on the road compaired to my 600,I was riding last night and everytime I hit a dip or bump I could tell the difference between my 600 and the 1000,the 600 suspension just takes everything in so much better,anyway it will make the bike that much better and ill have a better feel.plus im getting a deal on the suspension work..

I need someone who really knows what their doing to set up my suspension, and tell me if I need some stuff done to it.

I've come a long ways just setting the sag and playing with the com/reb. But it still doesn't feel as good as some bikes i've been on.

Stock shit sucks..theres only somuch you can to it..if you got your forks done and a rear shock you would notice a night and day difference..

You gonna change the tires right away or wait till you burn em up a bit? What are stock and what would you replace them with?

its all good, cbrevsone just call me this afternoon,he went down to NY honda and did the finacing and left a deposit,he also told me he paid $10,500 plus tax :eek: The King made one little phone call and had that fixed..$10g's plus tax..I saved homeboy $500 :wink:
the bike come with Perillis Corsas..they seem ok..they dont get as soft as my boys Battlax but they feel good..after these ill get the Battlax's or RennSports..

again..this bike is no joke..once its all broken in ill see how fast it really is..thats if any of these little bitches on there new R1 and ZX10's will have the balls to hold it open..probably not and none of my guys are planning gettin them either..

I went out tonight solo,half way out I cought up in a down poor and cept on going till I passed it,cleared up and I got to my 30 mile mark and started back,a few mins into the ride back and I got cought in a Thunder storm,all the way home in a down poor :x

Stuna is the there a way to disable or lock the damper at the minimum setting or is it always on?

When the bike is off and you are pushing it around is the damper at its lowest setting?
