Former Kawi ZX9 rider, former stuntrider. Getting done selling my old bikes now. I dont have a honda, but I am going to get one here soon. Im shipping off to basic training for the army here on April 18th. After that during advanced individual training I plan on getting a blue/yellow CBR1000rr. I cant wait, Im definitly not going to stuntride that bike, save for the occasional wheelie when the time is right.

I might be kind of a lurker since I dont have the bike yet, but Im cruizing for info and problems. Hopefully I'll find a good avatar here soon. I will have plenty of time too read all your reviews on exhausts and mods so I will know exactly what I want on my bike after I get it. Right now the carbon fiber twobros pipe is looking damn good.

First off welcome, :welcome: second off DON"T get the carbon two mothers, they have been falling off bike left and right. Third what you MOS and were are you going to Basic and AIT.
Keep an eye posted here and on 1000rr.net (as soon as its back up) there is alot of guys/gals that can teach you all you need to know about your RR. All you have to do is ask the ? and the answers will come.

Im 15J, OH-58D Armament/electrical, going in at 20 years old. Im going to Jackson I believe in South Carolina for basic training, and Williamsburg in Virginia for AIT. Im so stoked, I cant wait.

I might not get the 1000rr till I know for sure or not if Im going to Iraq or Europe. If Im going to Iraq first, I guess there would be no point in getting the bike yet. In any case, I plan on getting a honda for sure. If I go to Iraq, maybe when I get back I'll be able to go for an 07. We'll see, hopefully I wont have to go to Iraq. Im not infantry, so that works in my favor. Atleast it will only be a year if I do. Lol, I might be able to get an 08 CBR if I go there.

Anyways, Im really hoping that I go to Europe so I can pick this bike up alot sooner. I didnt know that about the twoBros pipe. I thought it looked pretty badass and I knew a guy who had one and after a full day of riding it wasnt even hot. Gunna ask in the exhaust area what some good carbons are.

These pics are pretty old, but they show kinda what the last stunt session was like. BTW, the reason my face is so wrinkled in the first pic is cuz its fukin hot out, and that leather jacket was like death.
