Funny thing is no emots or buttons show up for me... I found out how to get in here by waving my cursor around over every blank space and when the hand would come up I would wait to see what it had to say beneath it...

You do not have Zone Alarm do you? I did and had to get rid of it cause it would give me the same symptoms.
