What's up everyone, first time posting and I need a little help, I'm turning my 954 into Drag Bike slowly but surely, because everyone that I rode with has wrecked and got hurt or got two many tickets and had to sell there bikes to pay for them. I have done small mods to my bike like Jardine slipon, tuck the flap, and shaved weight. can I add a nitrous system through the air box without any major engine mods. I have been told yes, but I had run 115 octane fuel which I allready do.:firedevil:

I don't know .But the flap mod How is this done and should it be done without a power commander ?

i hope you plan on stretching the swingarm...that wheelbase is too short to run any real amount of nitrous.

also, only run 115 octane when you plan on using the nitrous. running a stock machine on 115 octane is not only an extreme waste of money, but you'll actually lose power and you'll have to deal with tons of carbon deposits down the road.

yeah, you're robbing yourself of some power and doing more harm that good running that high of octane in a stock bike.

do you have any road race tracks in your area?? you might have more fun getting a CCS license and road racing instead of goin in a straight line. and the cost is gonna be about the same when you start talking about stretched swingarm, nitrous, clutch repairs...etc. etc.
