Hello everybody, I have a 2004 and just recently started to have problems with the rpms. The rpms would jump up and down by just about a half a rpm at lower rpms, which have made the bike kill on me twice. Also when riding the bike would kind of stutters like it is running low on gas. Have no clue what is causing this, so if anyone has an idea or no what the problem is that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How many miles? Might need new plugs.

One time I was in an accident and the bike was never the same. It would sputter around 1k at idle and then die. It could be the spark plugs. I never did find out what the problem was.

Well the bike was never in any kind of accidents and the bike has just over 5K

I'd check the easy stuff first. Full service, new plugs, air filter. Is she getting gas (got good fuel? lines? leaks?), air, and a spark. After that, it gets a bit harder.
I had something similar and it turned out to be the TPS. Ended up having to replace the entire throttle body. Honda covered it all.

Also, adjust your idle. If it's at real low RPM only, adjust your idle a bit higher. Do it with your bike fully warmed up.

Yes, check your spark plugs...oil may have gotten to them which could have caused your engine to stutter. Like OlderRR said "Full Service."
