Everything cool in Turbie Land?

There's buzz going around the Reduc paddock that I'm an asshole and that I was stuffing guys all over the place blah blah blah. One of my coworkers who wasn't even there got in touch with me this morning and told me what the deal was.

In my humble opinion, that is definitely a slower more casual paced club than NESBA, NYSBC, and TPM.

When me and By-Tor did our trackday, we could run a good pace in Intermediate and get clean laps in. Not so with Reduc (which is now owned by STT). The track was crowded and guys were all over the place this past weekend and supposedly it's MY FAULT. The fastest guy this past weekend was a guy with only 4 trackdays under his belt which I thought was a little odd. He would run about 1:15 which is decent around Pocono East.

I just don't know where everyone is getting this "Turbo is an asshole" type of thinking. But apparently I must be an asshole because that is the general consensus. I just can't understand people sometimes. I thought everyone was nice actually but apparently they don't feel the same way about me. Supposedly, I'm some type of egomaniac with something to prove which is clearly not me.

I have my heart set on getting faster and I'm willing to pay my dues, take my falls, and do whatever it takes. I guess not everyone is on the same agenda. I can respect that. But don't knock me because I want to go out and be fast.

We tend not to think weather what we are about to say will piss the other person off or not. It comes from not having time to worry about peoples feelings... When computers or networks go down we have to jump into action... we can not say " excess me... do you mind If I just"

Not really bro. As far as communication goes, it's more like this. Let's say we were talking about last nights basketball game.

I love being the asshole and sometimes, um well, most of the time push people's buttons just to be the asshole. You can ask my wife about that. She knows how much I love pushing people's buttons. In fact when I meet people I usually just sit back for a few minutes and learn a bit about their personalities just so I can find their weaknesses just incase I ever need to mentally crush them. I'm really good at it.

All kidding aside, as previously noted, you want to be fast, be fast. If they open the inside line door in a turn, go through it. After all, that is why you are on the racetrack, TO GO FASTER. If you cause no wreck, no problem.
