She was the sweetest dog, she was always happy to see you wagging her little stump tail, she barked a lot, but she was so sweet, always tried to please. She got out of the yard sometime last ngiht or this morning and wander out onto the main road where she was run over by a car. True to human nature they never called the number on her collar to give us a chance to save her or prevent driving by her with the kids in the car who really didn't need to see that, but oh well.

That is the worst thing. I lost my lab (Farley) at x-mas and I still hurt terribly. He was my BESTEST friend in all the world. I am so sad for you and your family. And I'm sorry somebody had to do that to you and not even have the courtesy to tell you, or the decency to pick up your doggie.
Wait a little while, a month or two, or three, and get a puppy. I haven't loved a dog more than I love the pup my wife got for me, cause she got tired of watching me cry....

that's a weimaraner....they're full of energy and are very loyal. they're hunting dogs for sure.....used for everything from hunting elk, hogs, and birds.......but i think more importantly this one was a family member.

sorry for you loss of Zoe.....i'm sure she made your life as complete as you did hers
