I was riding my bike this weekend and the bike would slip out of various gears into an almost fake nuetral. It sounded like there was something in the clutch / gear box trying to engage the gear, I would have to reclutch and reshift... any idea what the heck that is... I am running REPSOL as stated in an earlier post.. you think it's as easy as changing oil?

i found false neutral many times on the 954. it came down to me being too gentle on the upshift. once i figured that out i had no problems. how long since the last oil change?

Shouldn't be the oil. Maybe the clutch is getting warn. How many miles have you got?

I got 7000 miles.. roughly. I might just be being a ninny about the upshift stuff... Its been about 1000 or so since I put that Repsol in there... the clutch seems to still be good... it's still engaging right when I touch the lever. It's just freaky to hit that false nuetral when I'm moving up or down and need to tranny break.. Thanks Fellas...

I wheely almost everytime out.. just little sit-down power wheelies in first though.. and I use clutch everytime I shift, but rarely ride it when I'm pulling out of first..

Thats How I Started Try Using The Clutch For Second Gear Around 5k Roll Into The Throtle And Pull In The Clutch With A Finger It Comes Right Up And When You Get To The Balance Point Its Effortless You Can Pick Youre Nose While Up There I Only Use The Clutch From 1st To 2nd And Than Only To Down Shift. I Dont No What Do You Think Im No Xpert But I Been Doing Preaty Good
