Cornfedwhitey 08-12-2006, 12:35 PM Hello all, just saying hi and introducing myself. My names Matt and I Found the site off Google and signed up looking for any additional info I can pick up while browsing. I currently ride a 02 954 with the basic mod's. Micron slip on, down a tooth up front ,Michelin Pilot Powers, tinted windscreen , l.e.d. rear peg turn signals and a cleaned up rear tail section. Waiting for Ebay to ship my Zex Nitrous kit so I can keep up with my friends turbo'd 900RR, I dont know if he's on this forum or not, Rob ? You there?
Heres the beast.

Truck 08-12-2006, 02:51 PM Mine and yours is almost identical. Are you sure the nitro wont flip you when you give it that burst of power? Wheelies are so easy on this thing. Where do you live at, just wondering.
Oh and welcome to the site:thumbsup:
Flightmedic954 08-12-2006, 03:17 PM mine used to look like that

The thought crossed my mind, however I am just shy of 215lbs and I was only intending on using the bottle in third gear and higher.
We shall see, if its too much I will remove it.. But theres never too much!
I'm in AZ, wheres its as hot as an oven but riding permits 12 months a year!
1WHEELMAX 08-12-2006, 04:19 PM hey welcome to the site, make yourself at home and start posting.
Truck 08-12-2006, 08:28 PM Im 245 and power third and on occasion 4th. I wouldnt even think of nitrus for this bike without an extended swing arm. Do what you want im certainly not gonna tell you what you should do. If you do do it we want the details on how it does.

On stock sprockets?
I'm down one up front and I can power 2nd, never tried third, mainly because I fear being on one wheel at 120mph +, but I will be the first to admit that. A little fear keeps my bike and I in good shape and without road rash! lol
I should be getting the Zex kit by next Tuesday time, however I am not installing it until the weather here in AZ drops to about 85. It would be murder on my bike to run a bottle in 115+ temps in the daytime and 99-102 at night. Nov /Dec time will be optimum bottle weather!
I will post a install thread and dyno number once it's complete. I only plan on running a 25 shot on it to see if I can handle that and still be safe with the engine.
Truck 08-13-2006, 08:26 PM Droped one on the front. The rear is stock. 3rd powered at 60. I ride em out at about 80.

Flightmedic954 08-14-2006, 10:32 PM big balls are over rated
& chick don't really dig big balls
especially if they are bigger than your dick
I wouldn't mind having a little hidden nos bottle
just for top a end secret weapon

My thoughts exactly. Plus, my best friend is running 11-12 psi on his 98 900RR with cams and full exhaust. It should be firing up this week, tuning the following week.
We have raced a few times with current mods, and the lil guy weighs about 40 pounds less than me so the race is rather close. With boost his bike should run hard, with Bus'a/R1's etc. He is aiming for 200+ RWHP
So, I need something to keep up in the straights!
Streetfighter 08-17-2006, 03:58 PM Freakin crazy man. Nos on the 954 is nuts and a half. Good luck to you. I will be interested to hear how it goes. Welcome to the forum!
