yes with the tailgate down... I have a 92 sonoma super cab....
just make sure you have long planks to not get your plastics hung up on them. If you can park the truck with the rear tires in a little dip like at the bottom of a driveway that'll lay the planks more flat so you don't hit the plastics too...
I have been using a Canyon dancer to strap in my bike and the 954 survived me taking it off road while under that device along with a strap to keep the rear end from sliding around.

coming from a guy that used to drive his supehawk up the ramps just like in his old dirtbike days. :)

you used just wood not ramps to get the bike in the back??if so how did you make sure that the wood didnt fall off the back of the tailgate when riding up?

AL, If you use the common aluminum ramps that are on the market, run tie down straps from the ramp to the anchor points on the interior face of the lower rear bed posts (posts at tailgate opening). This will prevent you from kicking the ramps off the tailgate. If you use wood ramps, invest in a set of aliminum or steel ramp kits. These are some pieces that turn your 2 x 8 lumber into a set of ramps. Then screw eye lags into the side edge of the plank on both sides about 6 inches from the tailgate edge. This will give you a place to hook your tie downs. Be careful, wood is slippery as shit, especially when wet.

best to get the back end in a dip to get the boards as horizontal as possible... I drove to a walmart one time and drove nose down into the loading ramp and unloaded with the boards almost completely horizontal. I uploaded in my driveway with the same technique. truck was at the bottom of the driveway and the boards were on the driveway and I had a level load that time too...
When I went to one place and I had to drive the bike up into the back I just got a Little momentum (just enough) and kinda coasted up the ramps with no power.

My first try, yes I did stand next to the bike, had it in gear, feathered the clutch and watched the board go flying and the bike go boom...

I never did that again. lol

ohhh I forgot to mention in light of By-Tor's post is if you use wood get a toot load of drywall screws and screw them into the top so the heads are all that show. just above the wood to stud the woods surface for traction..
