Just joined up here! Cool forum you have. I recently bought an '06 1000RR in Silver/Dark Metallic. I love this bike! Easily the best bike I have ever ridden. I sold my 2002 R1 and 2003 VTR1000F to buy it. Well worth it!! Like most people I see around, the first thing I did was go buy some accessories. I bought the Jardine RT-1 slip-on with the street core and the Competition Werkes LTD fender eliminator. Can't wait to install them. I'm from Pasadena,CA and am a non-stunting, can't-afford-to-go-to-the-track kind of rider. Glad to be here!

Welcome to the forum man. I started out just like you "a non-stunting, can't-afford-to-go-to-the-track kind of rider." but that only took a few years to change. Now it's a mostly on the track rider and a transformation back to street legal whenever I get a chance.
Pasadena, that near San Diego? I was somewhere around there when I was 13 and am 34 now. I do remember hwy 1 though along the coast. How could anyone forget a road as intense as that!
