Any group rides or other ride stories of the late?

Try this one on :!: My brother went riding last weekend and on his ride was doing a standup going accross a hill when he saw something in the road, so he set it down when he realized that it was an old man holding a shovel. He stoped and the old man came at him with the shovel and started swinging it at him. My brother put his kickstand down and thought he was going to have to get off and defend himself then the old man stopped when he raised his visor,"he figured the old man realized that he wasnt a punk kid". Then the old man then stepped off the road screeming that this wasnt his personal race track and my bro said,"youre right" started her up and took off. I asked him why he didnt kick the crap out of him and he said that he didnt want to hurt the old man.

You gatta realize that everyone goes by this guys house at top speed cause its on a straight. 8)

truck, same shtuff happened to me and another guy riding with me, except he was running towards the road with a shovel, shaking it at us, acting like he was gonna throw it at us and screaming........but we were screaming too and flipped him off as we laid it over in a 40 at about 90. we were just cruising, i don't know what the hell his problem was :D

the only story i can think of right now is a shitty one, GNT..........a nice group of us got out a coupla sundays ago and were doing our usual thing.....on the back roads, out of everybody's way :x when we come up to a stop sign, the last guy yells "what are we gonna do about that cop??!!??" .....sho nuff, he came barreling around a corner behind the very last guy.......the front 6 bolt(me being one of them) and the other 10 stayed.... and i swear, the 54 had an extra gear that day. i bet within 1 minute, i went from being the trailer to making headlights disappear. sweepers i usually took at 140 or 150.....i never let off...170,175....topped her out at 186(i know, i know....registered :D ).....well i get up to the stop sign and i'm about to make a break........and i see my cop buddy in his cruiser. i was pretty ashamed that he saw me like that, but anyway.....i pulled over and pleaded ignorance, about that time, the other guys showed up :P and they just sat there....and sat there....i was like "GO....GO!!!! No sense in all uf us getting toasted" i said this in my head of course LOL. well three of em pulled over and was asking what was wrong :lol: .....while the other 2 took off. THEY OWE ME!!!!! :P anyway, he was cool, but being out of his jurisdiction, he could only hold us till the county brownie got there......well he was busy writing tickets, so we got escorted back to where they were(loooooong freakin ride) so we get there and my cop buddy comes up to me and says "I'll see what i can do to keep you from going to jail".....i knew it, i was going in for sure....i called my girl and told her what happened, and said that if she didn't hear from me in 2 hours, that i was spreadin the cheeks and liftin the sack :oops:

what ended up happening?? the initial cop said that he had no way of proving that we had even seen him, so he couldn't say we were running.....so he gave us all 84 in 70 tickets, so we could take Defensive Driving and keep it off our record. he ended up being cool as hell, but how he got us pisses me off. He only got the VERY last guy speeding and he paced him....didn't get him on radarAND he was at least a mile or so behind us :x AND i came to find out that he HIMSELF had written over 70 tickets that day to motorcyclists alone and taken 5 to jail.

not bad for a fuckin reserve deputy. he made the quota for the whole county that day i think :roll:

funny thing is with the trucksters story I had a feeling I remebered you mentioning at one time about a shovel incident in a post about oil being put in a turn and another reply on that post about a rope tied across the road.. and ... and...

Gnt dont forget about the guy that tried to run me off the road in the ford ranger pulling the boat. I think im gonna ride the bus with pip from now on :D

I have gone through two road blocks in two weeks. I went through an intersection the other day went down to a favorite straight I use to practice wheelies rode two real long ones and then headed home. One last straight before getting home and im stagging up for one more wheelie when i rounded the curve and there they were. I had just set the front down from about a 500 yard wheelei in 2nd, I know they had to hear me but they didnt say anything. :eek: 8) Played it cool they were arresting a guy that didnt have his endorsement and had had numerous tickets :!:

LOL,.......i forgot to mention the reason why i was at the back when we took off. when i saw the po po coming, i tried to launch it real quick and killed my bike....fired it back up an hauled ass :D :D
