Can anyone help me out with which two drain bolts I need to remove in order to drain my coolant? I looked in the service manual but its kind of hard to tell from the pictures. Any help is appreciated.

Have you downloaded the pdf manual from this site?

the water pump drain bolt is pretty obvious and the cylinder drain bolt looks as if it is on the left side of the front of the engine.
Chapter 6 in the manual.
Good luck.

just follow the hose down to where it goes into the engine. pull it off there and it should drain it all.
when you refill it, make sure you run it and let it get good and hot then recheck the fluid level after the air has worked out of the system.

I don't think it matters if you undo the wrong one of the 3
just undo them until it drains
just be sure to tighten them back up

you don't have to get all of the coolant out. if you leave a pint in the water jackets it'll get diluted by the new shit.

take the cap off and knock it on it's side. you'll lose most of it that way. if you really want "all" of it out, just turn it all the way on it's top. that should do the trick. may help to turn it on and run it for a little while so it's cycle through the engine and come out.
oh, and if you do this can you please post pics???
thanks honkey

Really now fellas, shouldn't stealth learn how to do it "the right way". All the short cuts will come. A basic knowledge goes along way and yes it takes some patients.
Stealth, go over the manual and have a friend, father or uncle come over and give you a hand. There are good reasons generally to go by the manual.

Please, don't flame me on this one, LOL. :)

what is this "manual" thing you speak of?

i think jester's method is the best. make sure you do it on a gravel/asphalt surface. grass will leave dirt on the plastics.

3d sticky (topic) down on the previous navigation page (954 talk) where you can download the manual. A very nice touch on this site I might add.

My two cents I agree with jester, just have to unscrew the bolt where the line goes into the radiator or below there and all the fluid will come rushing out. Screw back on tight, no manual needed. Just be ready for that fluid!
