What full exhaust has someone had the best luck with? Due to the power to weight ratio of the new 1000rr, I'm going to make little changes to my 954. After the 954 came out, some posted they only got 2-3 horse withe PC III. I'm thinking about a full exhaust with a PC III and new wheels.
Any input would be great, thanks! :idea:

my 954 dynoed 129.7 stock with a ackropovic bolt on, then with a Arata full pipe and pc3 with the dan kyle map from the dynojet website it dynoed in at 144.9 thats like 15.2 hp differnce .

I am still searching for an exhaust. I considered Hindle but saw on the board here that they weren't the best quality. More a pipe that offers the most bang for the buck. I don't want to do a PC3 if I don't have to but with a full system it seems like it's required. Is that true?? Does Two brothers make a system from the HTEV back or are they just full systems/bolt ons. Sorry for the confusion, there are just so many choices and If i'm gonna invest some serious dough, just want it to be worth it.

was at the honda dealer and they recommended Jardine???? Anyone with first hand experience? The pipe looks good, but I have yet to hear one. I have decided I want to go from the HTEV back. I'd rather not cut any pipe, just bolt up to the HTEV. Aside from devil which systems do that?? thanks

on the jardine... I knew someone that had one (slipon) and it was deep and low like a d&d but not as obnoxious. The performance was right on for smoothness without a pc and mapping and all...

got the moriwaki full titanium system, my 954 hangs right in there with my buddy's 02 R1 with a full Yosh and a PC

A full micron is a great pipe. Good quality good gains and they sound awesome. They are PRICEY though.

i'm tellin ya- get a full moriwaki system, the price is right, the sound is great and power is damn good.

Email me with prices so i can get one ASAP, what about powergains on the bike, my old 954 had all sorts of shit, but due to theft i'm starting over, and i'm not going crazy, just PCIII and full system. anybody have any luck with yoshimura?? I was just gonna do a slip on. Sound, quality??

yosh's are a subsidiary of suzuki and therefore are primarily designed for them.

My friend has had a tri-oval yosh on both his gix750 and gix1000 and the 750 was slightly screamy but relatively soft sounding and the one on his 1000 is of course deep sounding but is also quite quiet.
when he does his highspeed fly-byes my heart doesn't jump like it does when the 750 screams on by...

the quality is fairly rugged and secure.

thanks, there are just so many to choose from. I really wanted a high mount set up, and the devil 3/4 system still grabs my eye. I know it's no akra.. and stuff like that, but I just have a daily driver. No track stuff for me. Does anyone know where to find a bunch of sound clips. I have looked on all the manufacturers sites, and only can find a clip on the devil site.

Please tell me what do you meen when you are writing PC III?For full system what is your opinion about Arrows?What is the gain in HP if i am going to change only the can?

when it is typed ... PC III stands for "Power Commander 3" that is a fuel correction device that plugs into the EFI (electronic fuel injection) and lets you adjust the air fuel mixture to get the right mix at any given rpm.

and with just putting a can on and not a system HP gains are very minimal but sound and satisfaction are improved.

The price of PC III?is it easy to put it to the bike?

around $300.00 and it's eas enough to put it on the bike but the only way to get proper use out of it is to have the bike put on a dyno that has an oxygen sensor to measure the air fuel and then have it custom mapped. Custom maps run around $250.

otherwise it'll just be a fancy thing to have on your bike and somewhat of a fun toy.

i've got a Jardine and love it. It's no Arrow, but it's good for the money

I got a full akrapovic system...I had mine dyno`d and it put 148.3 to the ground, before I had a yosh slipon and it dyno`d at 134, so big improvement and no more exhaust valve.
