South eastern WI is flooded at every river and stream. Towns buildings, garages, houses, everything...

Last night I drove my pickup through a high water area and it was to the frame on my stock gmc sonoma and today on my way to work it was at the bottom of the seat on my KLR...
real trippy though with an undertow cross current and over half a foot of run off sooty mud that grabbed the heck out of the front tire to the left then to the right as if I was driving in ruts all in 1st gear and feathering the clutch the whole time.
It got so deep at one point I heard my exhaust doing the blub blub...

half way through I said to myself..."not too smart Jim... holy shitzkies... not smart Jim... Gett ouutttaaa here dummy!... "


people are using canoes to get to their homes around many different places....
not me... HAHAHA I'm riding my bike!

right now my boots and gear are drying out by a fan here at work... LOL

sorry to hear about the flooding man, but on the inner voice, mine is always talking shit about something I have done or am fixing to do. :twisted:

flooding is getting way better.. most roads are opening up but some people are still using canoes to get to their homes... sad but true yet funny to boot... only because it's such a rare thing and there was only two reported fatalities of two little girls getting swallowed by a river... :cry:

DAMN! GNT! I don't know what to say. In a way, it's kind of cool because it's so intense, you know, the mother nature thing. It's also kind of pretty. Everything in the pics is so green and alive.

But I'm really very sorry that you have to flood out again. That has got to really SUCK! I hope you don't lose anything or anybody you know is suffering from this. Damn extreme isn't it? Good luck bro, and be careful riding through that stuff!

yeah, the hillbilly was having some fun...

water levels are all down now with the clay being saturated the water is going right through it at least a lot faster than when it was dry and acting as a shell for all the water tables.
I still say there is more yet to come :roll:
