does any1 have any pics of nitrous bottles or air shifter bottles mounted on a 1000rr? trying to get some ideas of a place to put them.

i tried mounting a bottle once but the hole in the end was too big for my wiley to touch the sides so i gave up the effort.

anyway, the only time i've seen it on a 1000rr was at the indy dealers expo and it was attached to the bottom of the sub-frame.
if you do, make sure to post up pics for us.

no picture, just jester being jester.

you could always strap it to the swingarm. i wouldn't plan on dragging pegs with that setup though.

say how much room is in a 1000's trunk area enough to fit a 2lb bottle maybe. im just assesing the potential of thing to do to a 1000rr if i end up getting one.

you can barely fit a sandwich in there, forget a tank of any sort.

Maybe a plastic bag or a ziploc bag. I hear they hold up to alot of pressure these days....

:urfunny: :rofl3: :rofl3: Good luck if you can make it work. I hope it works out for you.

Maybe, and this may be stupid... but, what about maiking brackets that come out from the subframe, looking like little bottles on the side of the reat seat. Make like a 90 degree bent bracket, then run the hoses right underneath the subframe.. Seems crazy but you never know.
