: Well took the dive,, and bought my wife a bike!
Turnerscasa Dallas 02-09-2007, 07:32 AM We are going to pick it up in the morning. I'll post some good photos tomorrow afternoon. It’s a 2005 CBR 600rr with 1700 miles on it. I've been looking for a while. All I can say is, bikes are expensive in Texas, all year round!
It was hard to find a deal, even in the winter. However, I believe I found one. I could turn the bike for a profit tomorrow if I had too. But,,, after the wife is done with it,,, I'm thinkin track that bitch! What do you guy’s think?
(Disclaimer... not the wife... the bike)

Courtjester 02-09-2007, 08:24 AM damn you and your disclaimer. i was 100% ready to pounce on that one.
but sounds cool. i'd like to get hooked up with a chick that rides (bikes). congrats.
Turnerscasa Dallas 02-09-2007, 09:47 AM We'll see, I'm going to take her out on the dirt bike in some sand for a while. Then easy her on the bike. Knew you be comming if I didnt put that disclaimer in there somewhere. Thanks brother!
olderRR. 02-09-2007, 09:56 PM OMG!!! That is so awesome! She will absolutely love it, and the 600RR is drop dead sexy. I bought my wife a 2003 600RR a couple years ago. It took a while for her to get comfortable on it because they are a fairly tall bike, and VERY FAST. But she loved her bike. We were in heaven!
Way to go. You guys will have a ball!!!
meatstick 02-10-2007, 12:30 PM I wish I would have known you were looking for a bike. I would have sold you my wifes '06 600rr black tribal scheme with only 800 miles on it. The bike is mint! I'm hoping I can get around $7000 for it this spring.
You guys will have a blast together. Mine loved it until I took an aspalt dive right in front of her!
Turnerscasa Dallas 02-11-2007, 09:17 AM Well I did it. We went and picked the bike up from Fort Sill in Lawton, OK yesterday. I drove it back to Texas, 200 miles in 32 to 42 degree freezing cold temps depending on where you were. I have to say it was the coldest I have ever been in my life!
The bike is awesome. It has great linear power, and the clutch is night and day from the 54. It’s really easy to ride; it should be a great bike for the wife. She’s has had the shit grin since we picked it up. Now she knows what I go though when I get a new toy!…Here some more picks. Time to start the modification list!

Turnerscasa Dallas 02-16-2007, 11:25 AM I did. That thing is nice! It has great linear power, you can just through it around. Funny it seems way lighter than the 54 but the dry weight according to SportRider is the same as my 54. (400lb)
basil24 02-16-2007, 06:47 PM dry weight on a 954 is 370 pounds.
Streetfighter 03-13-2007, 09:50 AM Sweet deal bro, make sure you and wife wear gear and also maybe have her take motorcycle safety course.
gntbldr 03-13-2007, 11:42 AM ooo LALA
Nice!
Turnerscasa Dallas 03-13-2007, 12:20 PM +2.. I'm also thinking frame slidres too. I'd hate to see her drop it, it doesnt have a scratch. She's been doing a good job so far.
gntbldr 03-14-2007, 02:00 AM very cool. Glad to hear she's out riding it man
Niner54 03-14-2007, 08:44 AM They are close in weight tho! yup 370 for the 54 and like 36x's for the 6RR and 34x's for the 07 6RR.
AWESOME man! That's what my girl rides too! She has an 03 that I pust 05-06 fairings on. She loves it! She had an 04 that got stolen along with my 54 :(
