im still braking it in a little bit,but I havent seen anyone out there on the road with any of the bikes you listed and I really dont think anyone out side my crew will have the nuts to try to go at it with me..all my guys got or are getting the 1000RR..all the R1's I seen are piloted by new jacks that couldnt handle a ex500..I feel like the Grim Reaper when I got new jacks following behind me..Im 100% not joking,fucked up feeling..

do you have any favorite things so far with the 1000RR?

the first thing I liked when I got my 1st 954 is I enjoyed how it would crab walk or chatter in highspeed choppy bumpy curves :twisted: and the thing I disliked was it's ease to tank slap at times in certain curves... :evil:

also the way it would hold high r's in the hilly twisties. Like a 2 stroke dirt bike.

everything about the bike is perfect,stable like mofo,i was trying to get the head to shake and nothing!!! HP is great, real smooth..in the highspeed leans like at 150 it feels like im doing 90..the bike flicks side to side easy..
I should have my forks and rear penske any day now and I ordered Woodcraft rear sets today also,also put on a set of the new Mich Pilot Powers..
this is by far the best bike I even been on..

the tires feel great they heat up fast and get real sticky,but im still nowhere riding this 1000 like I was riding my 954..I dont think im going to either..Im just going to keep it at 150 in the sweeper and open it up on the straights,nomore redline in 6th in the turns :D

my boys are loving there 1000RR's..one had a 2003 gixxer 1000 and he cant believe the difference..the other had a 954 and he cant stop talking aobut the 1000..I dont know why most of these mags talked down about the bike..its a great bike..its a total package..
speed,handling,HP,looks,performance and reliability..you cant go wrong with this bike..its a few LBS heavyer then the other but on the open road at speed you will notice why..the bike is planted,electronic damper!! most of the weight comes from the swingarm,it weights a ton,but that extra weight is low,not top heavy.. :wink: you have to ride one..

damn, I really want a 1000rr, but cant afford it yet. but I can afford some michelin pilot powers for my 954 :D
