Thanks, you're always one of the most helpful on this board! Now the next question is, where can I get the best deal on one?

gear indicator = waste of money, imo. if you dont know what gear you are in at any given point, does it really matter? i mean, what's it going to do for you? improve your riding? make it safer? Maybe im just being ignorant and there's some good benefit to having it....so feel free to school me on that if there is :)

Waste of money? I dont think so, I have one so I know what gear im in when doing wheelies, dont like shifting to 6th then counting down to the gear I want. btw, they were $40 less than they are now when I bought mine. weeeeee
