Love The Ohlins Front And Rear Suspension Parts That Are Soon To Be Put On. Make Sure To Update The Pics When They Get Installed.

the story goes like this:
I call Dan Kyle to see about adapting 1000rr forks to my 954 because, as we all know, Ohlins doesn't make R&T forks for them anymore.
He says, hey, I probably have enough spare parts to build one more set, they'd be used and run you 1700.
The down side is that I'd have to wait a few months for some new parts to arrive from Sweden to finish the build.
No big deal, I wasn't in a hurry anyway.
Long story short, they are used/new ohlins R&T forks with 2006 Superbike valving and what Dan thought would be the best setup for trackdays and street riding.

seriously gorgeous bike you have there ukdave28! love the black swing-arm.

anyway, whats the best setup for our 954 full system, 4-2-1 or 4-1-1? i'm on a 4-1-1 setup, feels good but i wonder if the 4-2-1 is better?

awesome moregrip! money well spent! more grip for you on the road and track!

however, the ohlins need to adjusted accordingly to gain maximum benefit. mine was not properly setup when i first installed it causing me to lose couple of secs from my best time on track...duh!

here's a pic of me puttering slowly on track.

Just finished installing the DK link and Ohlins rear shock, one thing I can say for sure, the Ohlins suspension has a taller ride height, maybe it will settle some over time, also the DK link is a very close to my Arata high mount exhaust, may need to do a little clearancing.........looking forward to riding this thing tomorrow!

No it does not come with the kill switch. You need to order the one from the RC51/SP2

You will also need to cut the plugs of the end and reconnect as the plugs are not the same

No you will need new cables. The stock ones are to short unless you have clip-ons.
