Just thought I would stop in and say hello. I have been lurking here for the past couple of months reading up. Yesterday I finally decided on picking up a new 1000RR. I actually just picked it up today and I love it! I currently also own an F2 which I have had since it was new. It has been a long time coming for a new bike. I kinda faded off from bikes as much of my time and money were going into my cars and truck. Well I finally decided it was time and picked up a black 1000RR. I am in my mid 30's and have been riding since I was about 6 when I started in the dirt. I have owned street bikes since I was 16, my first being a 2 year old 81' GPZ550, a red one.

I am definitely just a weekend rider as I don't have the time to ride too much during the week. I spend alot of time at the track (1/4 mi) with my cars. I look forward to taking the bike along.

Just a FYI, I love cars and trucks, especially American cars and trucks. I am very into Mustangs and own a couple of them. A Cobra I use for work and an 87LX coupe that I race. I post often on a very popular mustang website under the same name.

Anyway I look forward to learning alot more from the people here and possibly sharing some info as well. Here are some pics that I just snapped a couple hours ago.

Definitely Pro Comp tires gnt. I am a 4x4 know it all and have built many off road competition trucks. The bike shit has taken over in the last year but I am still the truck master. Bye the way Surf, welcome.

I'm runnin the MTR's on my 02' Sierra 2500HD size 315 / 75r 16. Got a 6" Pro Comp lift. I've also got 42" Swampers on my 70' FJ40. I built the suspension from scratch in that rig. Got full width Dana 60 in front and a 14 bolt out back. I get 50" of air under one tire with the other 3 on flat ground.

This is a truck that I built for a friend of mine a few years ago. It looks very different today.

Youre the man i need to help me restore my 85 GMC. Ive done the motor so good that I cant keep a trany in the thing. Stock 700R4 and ill bark going into 2nd gear with no shift kit. 8)

Let me know what you want to do and I'll steer you in the right direction truck. Chevys are my specialty, especially K series trucks.

Hell the Cobra would get smoked in the twisties too. My 87 would do some damage to the RR, as long as it stays in a straight line type of race. :D
