went to a shop today and found tires pretty cheap but for them to replace them i have to bring them the wheel not the whole bike is there way to remove the wheel and keep the bike up without a lift? will just the wheel stands work somehow?

Me and a buddy got everything loose lifted the front up and slid a steel pipe through the forks once the axle was out. Then just set and balanced it on some jackstands. It worked but far from the best way to do it. Id barrow a front stand from someone if possible.

Handy Stands........well worth the money. I have some pit bull stands(rear spool and front stem) but i got a good deal from Superbike supply a while ago. Check the handy's out if you don't want to spend much...they'll get the job done. usually can get both for less or around $100.
not a pic of my bike, but i'd love to have it.
