I'm gonna start. My hearing is shot from being in metal and hard rock bands and I had chronic ear infections as a kid and had surgery for it. I rode 4 hours to Laconia on friday and 4 hours back on sunday and my ears were ringing.

Dang! You got shocks, pegs... lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

Hell yeah I do, I am only 24 and I have bad hearing, it must have been from my first bike's yoshimuira exhaust, man could that fucker whail. That and a lot of other stuff fucked up my hearing so I use plugs everytime I ride. I actually like the muffled sound I hear. I know that sounds weird. I would recommend it to anyone if they still want to be able to hear in the future.

I wear plugs everyday on the aircraft & I never remember to put them in on the way home, I'll even still have them hanging around my neck when I get home.
I dont know how many times I think about using them & be on the highway before I remember again.
I have successfully plugged them a few times, I could take them or leave them.
I guess my hearing is already jacked enough not to notice the buzzing youse talking about, that or it happens so much I dont notice
