A whtas up everyone!! I just became a member. I used to com to this forum all the time to read up about things. I've had my M1 licence for about a year now, and in that year I've been riding my buddys bikes fairly often, but now its time for me to get my own bike. I have always been in love with 954 since the day I decided I wanted to ride. now I am looking to purchace one in he very near future. I was wondering if I could get a little help. I stay in Lakewood CA, does anyone know where shops are that rebuild damaged bike sbecause I would like to buy a damaged bike. I was into cars pretty tough so I know where a lot of car spots are but I dont know of any bike spots. Or if anyone is selling one let me know!

oh yeah, just remember, a salvage titled bike is VERY hard to sell. It may be wiser to find a good used 954, by the time you add all the $$ and time you spend on a damaged bike you could have bought a good one. wee

Whats GHB,

I don't live to far from ya. I'm of 405 & Valley View. As for your inquire about a shop I use cyclemall.net. There in tustin off or redhill and edinger. They have great prices and there labor rate is only 50 an hour. Alot of us do alot of track days. We try to squeeze in about 2 a month. Were doing Pahrmup in Vegas this weekend. And the following Monday where going to Willow Springs (the big track). Welcome and peek through very thread. This place is great.

Welcome GBH! You'll love the 954. I still miss mine even though I now have a 1000RR. The 954 was just a great all around lightweight bike with just the right amount of get up and go.
