Yeah, but if you read his post, he says he removed the Exhaust valve's servo motor. Completely removing the motor will leave the FI light on until the servo motor is plugged back in.

If the battery fails under a load test, it may have enough juice to run, but not enough to turn a starter. Also, if the charging system fails, you can push start, and ride until the battery gets too...
